In arts and culture, the Ernst Schering Foundation supports projects in the contemporary visual arts, the performing arts, and contemporary classical music. A particular focus is on artists and projects that explore unfamiliar territory and aim for a dialogue between artistic disciplines, but also between the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
